CSR Initiatives & Activities
The JSW Group defines Corporate Social Responsibility as making socially accountable yields, carrying out socially responsible operative relations and making a dedication to the community around it. In accordance with our CSR philosophy and to support the related social welfare programs to our surrounding people, society, health and environment related improvements in a larger prospect, we initiate certain CSR activities in the neighboring villages of Nimgaon, Kanersar, Puur, Pabal, Varud and other surrounding locations.
We are devoted to developing more smiles at every step of the journey. It’s our regular pursuit of creating lifestyles higher for communities with its diverse projects in the fields of suitability, education, livelihood, and culture.
JSW MI Steel allocates at least 2% of its average Net Profits made during the three immediately preceding financial years for the planning and implementation of CSR. All the CSR projects are accepted through the committee and the same are reviewed periodically. Focusing on the education facility in nearby schools, we have taken significant steps through our CSR initiatives in improving the education standard of the children by providing computer systems, new voice assistance devices and basic amenities like drinking water RO systems and study desk & chairs. Further we have arranged free medical camps at the surrounding villages for developing better & healthy society. We will continue to hold the hands of society for better tomorrow.
